Telecommunications Storage Steel Warehouse Facility – Pre Fabricated (22,000 SQUARE FEET)

This 22,000 sq.ft. telecommunications storage warehouse was delivered under a full turnkey civil and structural construction scope.

This 22,000 sq.ft. telecommunications storage warehouse was delivered under a full turnkey civil and structural construction scope.

Challenge

This telecommunications storage facility presented a unique structural challenge, requiring precision-engineered foundations and superstructure systems capable of supporting concentrated static equipment loads while ensuring long-term environmental protection with enhanced levels of security.

Site Preparation & Earthworks

The project commenced with soil testing, excavation, and compaction works to establish a stable formation level for foundation construction.

Ground engineering included:

  • Site leveling and grading
  • Excavation for foundation pads
  • Compacted sub-base preparation
  • Underground drainage layout installation

Foundation & Substructure Works

The foundation system was designed to safely support structural loads and concentrated equipment loads.

Works included:

  • Reinforced concrete pad foundations
  • Column pedestal construction
  • Anchor bolt cage alignment
  • Reinforced concrete floor slab base preparation
  • Service trench casting within slab
  • Equipment pedestal bases

Industrial Flooring

The floor slab was engineered for static equipment loading and long-term durability.

The slab construction included:

  • Heavy-duty steel reinforced concrete slab with C25 ready mix concrete
  • Anti-crack reinforcement detailing
  • Control joints
  • Surface hardener finish
  • Integrated cable trench system

Structural Steel Superstructure

The superstructure was executed using a Pre-Engineered Steel Portal Frame system optimized for medium-span industrial storage.

Structural elements included:

  • Tapered steel columns ( H Irons with Nut and Bolt System )
  • Fabricated rafters
  • Z-section roof purlins
  • C-section wall girts
  • Sag rods
  • Cross bracing for wind resistance
  • Fully bolted structural connections

Roofing System

The industrial roofing system included:

  • Zinc-Aluminium roofing sheets
  • MCFOIL insulation system
  • Ridge caps and flashings
  • Heavy-duty box gutters
  • Eave gutters
  • Downpipe rainwater system

Cladding & Completion

The building was fully enclosed using corrosion-resistant wall cladding supported by C-girts, incorporating ventilation provisions and secure access openings.

This project clearly demonstrates full lifecycle civil and structural construction delivery.
