Delivered as a full civil and structural development supporting multi-product storage operations.

Delivered as a full civil and structural development supporting multi-product storage operations.

Challenge

Strategically located within a key logistics corridor, this 32,000 sq.ft. warehouse required a structurally robust and highly adaptable design capable of accommodating diverse product categories and dynamic loading conditions.

Site Preparation & Earthworks

The project commenced with soil testing, excavation, and compaction works to establish a stable formation level for foundation construction.

Ground engineering included:

  • Site leveling and grading
  • Excavation for foundation pads
  • Compacted sub-base preparation
  • Underground drainage layout installation

Foundation & Substructure

The foundation system comprised reinforced concrete pad and pedestal foundations designed for heavy structural loads.

Works included:

  • Precision anchor bolt cage installation
  • Reinforced concrete pad foundations
  • Pedestal column construction
  • Structural concrete curing and strength verification
  • Integration with slab reinforcement system

Industrial Flooring

The floor slab was engineered for static equipment loading and long-term durability.

The slab construction included:

  • Heavy-duty steel reinforced concrete slab with C25 ready mix concrete
  • Anti-crack reinforcement detailing
  • Control joints
  • Surface hardener finish
  • Integrated cable trench system

Structural Steel Superstructure

The superstructure was executed using a Pre-Engineered Steel Portal Frame system optimized for medium-span industrial storage.

Structural elements included:

  • Tapered steel columns ( H Irons with Nut and Bolt System )
  • Fabricated rafters
  • Z-section roof purlins
  • C-section wall girts
  • Sag rods
  • Cross bracing for wind resistance
  • Fully bolted structural connections

Roofing & Thermal Performance

The roofing assembly was engineered for tropical heat and heavy rainfall exposure.

The roof build-up included:

  • Zinc-Aluminium (Alu-Zinc) roofing sheets
  • MCFOIL radiant barrier insulation system
  • Z-purlin support grid
  • Ridge caps with sealed weatherproof joints
  • Industrial flashings at roof transitions
  • Fabricated box gutters
  • Eave gutters
  • Downpipe rainwater discharge network

Complete construction lifecycle executed under single contract.

Cladding & Completion

The building was fully enclosed using corrosion-resistant wall cladding supported by C-girts, incorporating ventilation provisions and secure access openings.

This project clearly demonstrates full lifecycle civil and structural construction delivery.
